Our Story
Thank you for visiting Fit ‘n’ Fun Cat Wheel! My name is Elizabeth, and I’m a distributor of the latest G5 Ferris Cat Wheel. The aim of Fit ‘n’ Fun Cat Wheel is simple:
- Give indoor cats a much-needed fun ‘n’ safe outlet for their excess energy.
- Help people bond with their pets through the wheel training process.
- Provide people with one of the best and safest cat wheels on the market.
The story behind Fit ‘n’ Fun, however, is a little more interesting…
Meet Bruce
Bruce is the reason I became a distributor of the Ferris Cat Wheel. He wandered into my home (and heart) in early 2022 as a stray. With his fancy coat, charming face, and smelly breath (he was teething at the time), my kids affectionately called him ‘Stinky Batman’, then ‘Bruce’ once we adopted him. Watching him grow—from a small, malnourished, flea-covered kitten—into a healthy, loveable, cheeky young cat has brought so much joy and laughter into our family home.
It’s also brought so much destruction. Plants. Paper towels. Sponges. Shoelaces. Drawstrings. Pegs. Boxes. Bags. Couch corners. You name it, he’s destroyed it. Despite the addition of many new toys, a scratching post, and consistent feeding times, playing times, and outside time (with supervision on a harness and leash), Bruce is still Full of Beans.
Helping a cat or kitten adjust to life indoors, especially after having survived out in the wild, is no small feat. Considering how important exercise and play is for feline health and wellbeing, I knew I had to find another avenue for Bruce’s excess energy. Cue the Ferris Cat Wheel! After taking a deep dive into the world of exercise wheels to find out what was best and safest on the market, the Ferris Cat Wheel became my clear winner for a number of reasons:
- The design was modern and simple;
- Reviews showed it was easy to assemble, built to last, and quiet to use; and
- It prioritised feline safety by using a sturdy base, large wheel, and wide track with foam tiles to prevent injuries, tipping, or derailing.
So, to summarise: I’m an Aussie cat lady who wants to help Aussie and Kiwi cat people (as well as animal shelters, catteries, and cat cafes!) by providing a safe and fun outlet for their animal's excess energy.
