Ultimately worth it, but prepared to sink hours into building it (unless you're a pro).
Also, this website should offer mats of suitable dimensions in its shop. It's actually pretty hard to find a no-slip mat that's just a bit larger than the wheel base. Unless you're custom-trimming a mat, most rugs/mats will be about double the needed area.
Hi Cindy, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Installation is much like furniture assembly in that it can be time-consuming but, having assembled several display wheels over the years, I've found putting on some TV helps pass the time. Plus involving your cat(s) during the wheel assembly makes for a lovely bonding experience and encourages their curiosity to boot!
Re: non-slip mats, I'll pass this feedback on to our manufacturer. A quick fix I've recommended in the past is getting a yoga mat or visiting your local dollar store or Bunnings for floor mats. I use two small carpeted 60x40cm mats underneath my wheel and they get the job done. If you're still having trouble finding a suitable mat, please keep in touch!
Our wheel arrived within a few days from ordering it. I have not as yet assembled Winston’s new wheel as his present one is still viable. I can say though that his current one, although an older model, has been a god-send, helping to keep Winston fit and entertained.

So glad we finally bought this! We have a super active Bengal and while I love taking her for walks, I can’t do it every day. This wheel was easy to put together. Super quiet. Makes kitty happy. Makes us happy (and laugh!). Great seller. Great communication.
